Bruchlinien im Eis

The book Cracks in the Ice, Current Arctic Anthropology is the follow-up publication of the conference "Siberia and Circumpolar North, Contributions by Anthropologists and NGOs". This conference was hosted by the Working Group Arctic and Subarctic at the University of Vienna, Austria. More than 40 scholars, students and indigenous representatives of NGOs presented their work on political, economic and cultural developments in the North. Because of the success of the conference and the positive feedback we decided to publish, some of the presentations, to make it accessible to a wider German speaking readership.
